MY LATEST ARTICLE IN THE LODGE MAGAZINE OF THE THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY: BRIDGING ANCIENT WISDOM WITH CONTEMPORARY SPIRITUALITY

Beyond my role as Founder and Principal of Thoth Impact Advisory (TIA), among other advisory and consultancy commitments, I serve as an Executive Committee Member (i.e. Board Member) of The Blavatsky Lodge of The Theosophical Society, which is the Sydney branch of The Theosophical Society in New South Wales, Australia. In this capacity, I have had the privilege of launching and managing the "Theosophy for a New Generation" lecture series—a monthly programme designed to revitalise engagement with timeless spiritual and philosophical traditions whilst creating a vibrant community space for contemporary seekers.

I am pleased to share that my article on this lecture series, titled, "Theosophy for a New Generation: Building Bridges with Ancient Wisdom", has been published in the Spring 2025 edition of The Lodge, the magazine of The Blavatsky Lodge of The Theosophical Society.

The Theosophical Society: A Brief Introduction

Founded in New York in America in 1875 and incorporated at Chennai (formerly known as Madras) in India in 1905, The Theosophical Society is a non-sectarian, non-political, and non-dogmatic organisation built upon three fundamental objects:

1.      To form a nucleus of the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity, without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste or colour

2.     To encourage the study of comparative religion, philosophy and science

3.     To investigate unexplained laws of Nature and the powers latent in human beings

These three objects create a framework that transcends dogma whilst encouraging deep spiritual inquiry. The Society welcomes the discussion and exploration of philosophies from all faiths and traditions, recognising that wisdom traditions across cultures share profound insights into the nature of reality, consciousness, and human potential.

The "Theosophy for a New Generation" Series

My article chronicles the remarkable success of the "Theosophy for a New Generation" lecture series, which launched in 2025 under my stewardship as an Executive Committee Member. This monthly initiative was strategically designed to engage individuals eager to explore diverse wisdom traditions—from Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Sufism, Taoism and Hermeticism to Indigenous spiritual practices, alongside secular philosophy and contemporary New Age spirituality.
